Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Event Venue coordinator to oversee the operations and sales of our event space.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in event management, hospitality, and venue management with a proven track record in sales and employee supervision. This role requires excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Event Coordination: Oversee all aspects of private events, including weddings, showers, and corporate functions.
- Event Execution: Work with the Event Lead to ensure flawless execution of on-site events.
- Sales and Bookings: Manage event inquiries, bookings, and sales agreements, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Planning and Logistics: Coordinate event logistics, staffing, and vendor collaboration to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise part-time event staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Customer Experience: Build lasting relationships with clients and guests, ensuring every interaction reflects Lost Oak Winery’s values.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with the Operations Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing to plan and promote events, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations to continuously improve processes and guest satisfaction.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with local vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration during events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience in event management, hospitality, and venue management with proven experience in sales and employee supervision.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrated emotional maturity and customer service excellence.
- Revenue-driven mindset with experience in achieving and surpassing sales goals.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and event planning software.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour plus commission
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
