Assistant Store Manager
Job Title: Storehouse Assistant Manager
Reports to: General Manager
A. Summary:
Harvest House is a faith-based organization that serves Johnson County and surrounding communities with food, clothing, and financial assistance. The Storehouse Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager by accurately conducting daily operations of The Storehouse and ensuring the team meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager should have retail manager experience with a sharp business mindset. This person needs to be skilled at organizing and solving problems as well as have strong interpersonal and mediation skills.
B. Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a retail assistant manager or similar position
· Experience with recruiting and performance evaluation processes
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community.
· Ability to problem solve in areas appropriate to the Storehouse, including working with the public, customers, clients and staff.
· Familiarity with financial principles with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets, and sales statistics
· Leadership and organizational abilities as well
