Description

Each year, the Character Council recognizes students in Burleson ISD who exhibit good character. The Character Council will focus on the following four traits and campuses will nominate students who exhibit one of the following: Kindness, Integrity, Accountability, and Courtesy. 

The Byron Black Character Award will be presented to a citizen in the community who has demonstrated outstanding character along with the John Mark Stallings Award, presented to a student in special education showing outstanding character.
